Coco Wears // Daytime Soiree
15 October 2017
As the weather gets warmer one of our favourite weekend activities is sitting at an outdoor café or winery and enjoying a long lunch with friends. During the colder months we tend to gravitate towards denim and knits however Spring is all about fun, floaty day dresses and open toe sandals. Ahead, three brunch outfits to wear this spring.
The By Nicola 'Eve' dress is perfect for Sunday lunch at a winery or casual, park picnic. Warm weather and crisp, white eyelet fabric go together perfectly and we love the one should design. Keep it casual with a pair of the Kyma 'Karpathos' sandals in Light Grey/Natural. New to Coco and Lola, Kyma sandals are handmade in Greece. A beautiful addition to each Kyma shoe is its distinctive blue sole which is a homage to the beautiful, rich blue coastlines of Greece and the Islands.
For a more formal daytime event we can't go past Coco Ribbon. This exclusive 'botanical' print dress has a washed vintage feel making it whimsical and romantic. The striped contrast detail modernises the feel, giving the dress an unexpected edge. This perennially figure-flattering style skims the body, delivering a svelte and chic silhouette. Surprisingly versatile, this silk dress can take you from daytime events to cocktail soirees.
"Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking!"
When editor-in-chief of Runway, Miranda Priestly, is presented with florals in the movie The Devil Wears Prada, she makes a sarcastic remark that has gone on to become an iconic catchphrase in real life. Priestley or not, we love florals and can't go past the Tea Time dress in Garden Party. A soft, feminine floral print with a mixture of light and dark pinks give this dress our tick of approval for your next Summer soirée.
